On July 14th, Kirat Rai Yaokkha, an organization active in various social activities in Japan, welcomed Nepal's famous musical band Sabin and the Pharoah in the city of Shinjuku Okubo, which is considered the heart of Japan. The band members who are on a musical tour of Japan were organized a program with dinner at a hotel in Okubo, Shinjuku, and interviewed the fans there, according to the information provided by Sudan Rai, KRYJapan's general secretary and program director.
Sukra Rai, the founding president and current advisor of "Everest Fuji Society Japan", active in Nepal and Japan, welcomed the members of the band with food. In the same way, the director of the program, Sudan Rai, read out the certificate of appreciation, while Sajib Rai, the outgoing president of Adivasi Janjati Mahasangh Japan and now the advisor, expressed his opinion that he was proud that Sabin and the Pharoah had introduced Nepal to the world through the song. Saying that he was a fan, and remembered that he had no money in school life but used to collect lunch box money to buy CDs to listen to Sabin's songs.
Sabin and the Pharoah thanked for being welcomed and honored by KRYJapan and promised that they will continue to remind Nepali brothers and sisters living abroad through Nepali Music. In this regard, Ishwor Gurung, the founder of Namaste band and famous singer, gave a congratulatory speech.
