Tokyo,Japan-The Salpa Silichung Concern, Conservation and Promotion Center International Committee has received a total financial contribution of NPR 138,486 (One hundred thirty-eight thousand four hundred eighty-six rupees) collected in Japan to support the preservation and promotion of Salpa Silichung (Silicho), one of the most sacred Mundum sites of the Kirat Rai community.

The fundraising initiative in Japan was coordinated under the leadership of Bimala Chamling Rai, a Central Committee Member of Kirat Rai Yayokkha Japan and the Financial Coordinator (Japan) of the Salpa Silichung Concern, Conservation and Promotion Center International Committee. The collected funds have been officially handed over to support ongoing efforts to preserve and develop the historic and spiritual site.Salpa Silichung holds profound religious and cultural significance for the Kirat people. 

Revered as a sacred Mundum heritage site, the area is believed to be connected with the spiritual origins of Kirat civilization and traditions. The ongoing preservation campaign aims to protect and promote the site while strengthening its recognition as an important Kirat cultural heritage landmark.

As part of the initiative, the project plans to construct several cultural and religious structures at Salpa Silichung. These include the statue of Sumnima–Paruhang, statues of various Mundum figures including Nakchhong Mangpa, and a traditional Mundum gateway designed in the symbolic Wabuk/Chindo shape. These developments are expected to contribute to the conservation of Kirat religion, culture, and traditions while promoting Salpa Silichung as a significant spiritual and cultural destination.The Salpa Silichung Concern, Conservation and Promotion Center International Committee has expressed sincere appreciation to all individuals and organizations who contributed to this meaningful initiative.

 The committee acknowledged their generous support in helping advance the historic campaign to safeguard the sacred site and extend the legacy of Kirat Mundum traditions for future generations.
