In Remembrance and Solidarity: Tributes to Martyrs and Support for the Injured in Identity Movement

Tokyo, Japan - April 19, 2023

With solemn hearts, we pay our deepest respects to the martyrs Padam Limbu (Lajehang) who sacrificed his life in our identity movement. Our thoughts are with his families, and we extend sincere wishes for the swift recovery of the injured identity workers. As a testament to our commitment, we announce that a total of ¥147,000 Japanese yen (₹1,40,958 Rs) has been collected from the regions of Tokyo and Kanto in Japan.

In an act of unwavering solidarity, the collected funds have been deposited into the account of Nepal Central Rent. This financial support aims to aid the families affected by the tragic events during the identity movement.
