KRY Tokyo Concludes 6th Regional Convention

Tokyo, Japan -January 18, 2026

The 6th Convention of the Regional Committee of Kirat Rai Yayokkha Tokyo was successfully concluded on January 18, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan. During the convention, Mr. Bhabindra Rai was elected as the new Regional President of Kirat Rai Yayokkha Tokyo along with other members of the executive committee.

On the occasion, former President Rajanti Sampang Rai extended heartfelt congratulations to all the newly elected officials and members. She wished them a successful and productive tenure ahead.Former President Rai expressed her confidence that the newly elected leadership will continue to work with dedication to preserve and promote the rich culture, traditions, language, and identity of the Kirat Rai community in Japan.

She also appreciated the successful completion of the convention and acknowledged the efforts of everyone involved in organizing the event, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective participation in strengthening the organization.Kirat Rai Yayokkha Japan has been actively working to promote Kirati culture, traditions, and community solidarity among the Kirat Rai diaspora living in Japan.
